I got partway through college and realized I don't know what I want to do with my life. I do know that I want to travel though, so I took a year off from school and I am embarking on my first solo adventure around Europe. Maybe I will find some direction in my journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to connect with people who come from different backgrounds and hold different perspectives on life so I can expand my world-view. Also I need places to sleep once in a while;) When I return from my trip, I hope to open my place up for hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a wide variety of music including Acid Jazz, Folk Rock, Funk, R&B, and Classic Rock. I'll listen to pretty much anything someone puts on. I am a mild cinephile, and an avid reader. Some of my favorite authors are Kurt Vonnegut, Douglas Adams, and John Steinbeck.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 7 years old, I went hang gliding over the Southern Alps in New Zealand where they filmed the Misty Mountains in The Lord of the Rings.

I am an enthusiastic adventure partner, a chill guy to hang out with, and an intense conversationalist. I have reasonably well-informed perspectives on many topics and I love to get into a good discussion about philosophy, literature, politics, religion, culture, etc.
