Overview
About Me
A total geek/nerd/whatever. I run supercomputers at the University of Pennsylvania. Fluent enough in Japanese to converse, but I need to learn more kanji! I love language and have an aptitude for it, but am lazy so I haven't done much with it. I work in High Performance Computing (HPC), helping researchers use computing for their work. Video games are cool, especially RPGs.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of kinds of music. One of my favorite bands right now is ゲスの極み乙女。I really like a lot of forms of rock, including pop-rock, J-Rock, punk, and so on. I don't really like country or most kinds of rap, but there are exceptions. Janelle Monáe, Björk, Lady Gaga, Queen, and many other classics are always staples.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing Björk live in Concert for Vulnicura was an ethereal experience. I've also volunteered at an HPC conference in Frankfurt two years in a row, so far. It has been a great time.
