ABOUT ME

My husband & I are travel photographers. We have recently spent 3 months in rural China & am now on a cross country road trip across the U.S. I previously couchsurfed in New Zealand and had a wonderful time. As life would have it I was away from the community for a while & had to do another profile. Since then I've only had limited interactions with social gatherings but would love to surf again while on this trip & look forward to meeting you.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't limit yourself to your surroundings and what everyone else is doing. There's a big world out there go and enjoy it while doing your best to make a difference and help others along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I became involved in couchsurfing originally in 2010 when a family I nannied for recommended it. I couchsurfed for 3 weeks in New Zealand. I had an amazing time with my hosts but as life happened I was unable to keep up with the couchsurfing community until I got to Oahu. I then participated again until I began my masters degree and could not continue due to such a hectic schedule of work & school. Since then I have graduated & met the love of my life, so now my husband & I would like to begin trying to get back into the community as life allows and we branch out for more travels again. At the moment we can only meet for coffees or social outings maybe show you around the island a bit or you can join us for a hike, swim or the like. Hopefully as time allows we will get back into hosting & surfing. Look forward to meeting up!

Interests

My husband & I are both triathletes and thus spend a lot of time biking & swimming around the island. We also enjoy hiking when we can or other various outdoor activities especially ones where I can bring my camera along for some amazing shots. We're very blessed to be on such a beautiful island although I can't wait till we get to travel again to experience other cultures, meet & learn about new people. In the mean time we are excited to meet you here and bless your travels where we are.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wouldn't say its something I've done but its what I see. I love being able to capture the beauty in a place and the beauty & emotions in people through my camera. Its amazing what a picture can portray.
