Overview
About Me
Born and raised in Hong Kong, lived in Australia when I was a kid, went to college in the United States and now working in Hong Kong as an accountant. I love to explore the world and would go traveling whenever I am on holidays.
I enjoy interacting with local people to better understand your culture, local food & drinks and places away from the tourist crowd. To experience CS, it would be nice for we to get to know each other. I would always love to grab a meal/beer with my host if your schedules allows. We can share our life/travel stories and learn about each other's culture/history/politics from an insider's point of view.
PHILOSOPHY
Be nice, smile and share laughters!
I smile a lot, and you can definitely tell if we meet in person :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couchsurfed the first time when I backpacked in Europe for one month after graduation as I read about it on travel blogs and immediate knew it would be something I would enjoy.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I enjoy most surfing at local families. My first host is a Swiss family with 3 kids, and they welcomed me with utmost hospitality. My travels have become different since then (Thank you Daniel and Family!)
I enjoy learning about a place through a local and share our differences in culture/lifestyle. Hope I can get to meet awesome people like YOU and learn more about the world from each other!
Surfed/Met:
- Brig, Switzerland (Daniel and Family) - Big thanks for being my first host, and the kids teaching me basic German

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked slightly off the main tourist streets of Kawagoe, a suburban area near Tokyo (Japan), went into a traditional family-run grocery store and got a bottle of local beer (Coedo Beniaka, in case you are curious haha). The owner was an old lady, she pointed at the poster and started to introduce the festivals and traditions of Kawagoe to me completely in Japanese which I knew only 10% of the words. I tried to use my limited Japanese vocabularies to respond. I can't believe we kept the conversation going and going until I have finished my beer!
