ABOUT ME

My name is Jamie, 25 and I am from the UK.

I am a keen traveller and currently living in St Petersburg, Russia - Teaching English. Before I arrived here, I spent a year hitch-hiking from London to Shanghai, which was an awesome experience.

I have had many couch surfing experiences before and love meeting new people and seeing new places.

I have previously worked as a technician for Mitsubishi-Vestas, a Japanese/Danish company who research & develop wind turbines. Before that, I lived in Brighton (UK), where I was in a punk-rock band, allowing me to spend a lot of time on tour in the UK & Europe, releasing a couple of albums and having some unforgettable times!

In 2012, graduated from Bath Spa University with a BA Commercial Music, where I spent 3 years.

兴趣

Music, football, travelling, reading, learning,being out in the open, experiencing new people and cultures. Education is a great tool, as long as I'm constantly learning and having fun then that is what drives me on.

Music: Mainly into punk-rock but love over stuff like dancehall, post-punk, post-rock, hip-hop...I take everything on its own merits and don't like to pigeon hole things.

Books: Mainly non-fiction - I like historical, sports, musical and geographical books as well as socio-economics and dystopian fiction
