ABOUT ME

I grew up in Atlanta, GA. I went off to college in Burlington, Vermont and I attended UVM where I received a Bachelor's in Social Work. After living in Vermont for another year after school ended, I decided to return home to Atlanta and start working on my Masters degree. I have recently graduated from GA State with a Masters in Social Work. I am currently traveling throughout the Western US before returning to Atlanta to find a job. I decided to travel out west for the summer because I had never been out there before and there are so many awesome places that I want to visit.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others as you would want to be treated. Be fair and just. Try to see the positive and/or humor in things. Go with the flow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience with the Couch Surfing project. I hope to get my feet wet next summer. If anyone wants to visit Atlanta, I can offer a couch at my apartment!

Interests

I enjoy reading, hiking, camping, sports, board games, micro breweries, museums, traveling, warm weather, laughing, attending baseball games, trivia, bbqs, swimming, snorkeling, wiffle ball, and many other things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: clueless, time to kill, LOTR, dazed and confused, breakfast club, gladiator, my cousin vinny, dances with wolves, the departed, little miss sunshine, life is beautiful, cold mountain, city of god, into the wild

Music: I like all kinds of music, in particular, Bluegrass, classic rock, some pop and hip-hop

Books: enders game, LOTR, fast food nation, into the woods, timeline, lonesome dove and any james michener book.

Television: entourage, seinfeld, sportscenter, around the horn, lost, the office, the sopranos and pretty much any sports game.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a solar eclipse in France while I was visiting. It was an awesome sight!

In yellowstone I saw four bears and three moose in one day!! Two of the bears were grizzly bears!
