About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore and experience as much as I can. To meet great people!

ABOUT ME

I am a 20-year-old student from England. I have a twin brother who I will be travelling with throughout the summer! I enjoy reading, walking, cycling, going to gigs, exploring, and generally learning interesting things!

PHILOSOPHY

Why do I live my life? A very good question! We should make the most of our time and enjoy it as much as possible. There is no point waiting for tomorrow to try something and it is fun to challenge yourself. I think the quote "The darkest hour has only sixty minutes" sums up how we should look for positives and embrace every experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be mainly surfing throughout the summer as my brother and I travel Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No previous Couchsurfing Experience but looking forward to getting involved!

Interests

I enjoy learning about new things and take quite a inquisitive approach to life. I enjoy reading, and when my head isn't in a book I enjoy walking, cycling and generally exploring. I also like to go to gigs, watch the football, and meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like war films and gritty dramas. My favourite films would have to be Band of Brothers and Seven Pounds. For music, my favourite genre's are hardcore, post-rock and classical. My favourite bands at the moment are probably Touche Amore and Pianos Become the Teeth. I enjoy reading a lot. My favourite books are 'Feral' by George Monbiot, 'The Reader' by Bernhard Schlink, 'With the Old Breed' by Eugene Sledge and any Sebastian Faulks novel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing my brother alongside me in the womb - pretty cool although the memory of it is vague. Also working during the London Olympic Games was an amazing experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am passionate about sustainability and could hopefully persuade people to live a more sustainable and fulfilling life! I am always up for learning new things and would love the opportunity to learn absolutely anything!
