About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Put off work as long as possible

ABOUT ME

Born in Denver, raised in West Virginia, and went to school in Boston, with summers in Paris, London, and San Francisco. I am 23, and finally just finished with school, and am headed to San Francisco next year to work as a software engineer. I am an active, friendly, and openminded guy, and I have done a lot of traveling, but always in hotels or hostels, without meeting many locals. I am really excited about meeting local hosts and making friends all around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a very logical and reasonable person, and I am very open minded of others and their beliefs. I am always skeptical of everything I think I know, and love hearing about other people's opinions or beliefs and how they affect their lives. I value honesty very highly. I believe that happiness is a choice, and too many people choose

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined, and will be going on a 3 month trip through Southeast Asia, hopefully couchsurfing much of the way. When I get back to San Francisco at the end of the summer and move into a new place, I would love to start hosting surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None.

Interests

I played basketball in college and love playing and watching still. I am very interested in entrepreneurship and specifically tech startups. I have been a part of a few early stage software companies, and would love to start my own company in the next few years. I spent the last 20 years or so in school learning, but I still love learning new things, especially related to software, physics, math, business, history, or really anything interesting.
