About Me

I recently moved back to Columbus, Ohio from Oujda, Morocco. I taught English at a language center there. I was also a cultural coordinator. I had previously studied Arabic in university and while living in Palestine but the Moroccan dialect (Darija) is so so different! It was like learning a new language. But I got pretty decent at it, ngl.

Currently, I am coordinator for a youth program at a refugee resettlement organization.

I am passionate about playing, creating, and recording music and I run whenever and anywhere I can!
I enjoy meeting new people and going on spontaneous adventures.

I recently released an album I wrote, arranged, and recorded, called Cloud Mtn. Here's the link if you wanna listen;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been out of the couchsurfing game for a little while now. I lived in a small city in in Morocco, right on the border of Algeria for a couple years and didn't host anybody, although I totally would've liked that! I surfed with my [NOW] life-long friend, Soufiane, in Marrakech. in 2019. Pre-covid. u kno..

I have also couchsurfed while in Bahrain and Amman, Jordan.

While living in Palestine, I hosted a few different people from random places, like Turkey and the UK.

Years ago, I traveled down the east coast, couch surfing at random homes by amazing people. I was in WV, VA, NC, SC, GA, and many other states! Great regional traveling experience.
