About Me

CURRENT MISSION

share a couch, find a couch

ABOUT ME

I love life. I love being in it, seeing new things, hearing old stories, and meeting interesting people. I'd like to think I have an adventurous spirit. Hosting or surfing, it doesn't matter. I'm happy to have played a little part in this big project. I hope we get to meet soon!

PHILOSOPHY

Truth: The value of a man is best measured by his capacity to endure truth (paraphrasing from Nietche)
Karma: put out what you want to get back. and although i like the saying...you must be the change you wish to see in the world...easier said than done. but it's a good saying

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just participate. Surfing, hosting, getting together... all of it. If an opportunity to be involved arises- I'm usually up for it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The second time I ever hosted, I had 5 people stay with me for 10 days. That was a life changing experience. Actually, CSing has woven and interesting and indelible thread through the fabric of my life. Ask me about it. It's a really crazy thing.

Interests

Anything new, anything adventurous (although if i have to be really cold while doing it...i'm not generally a fan), learning Spanish, cooking, beer/wine/coffee, scuba diving, hiking, yoga, running, youtubing (verb?), traveling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Loved my Habitat for Humanity Trips (Botswana, Poland, Ghana). Those were experiences so unique it's hard to explain. I just think Greece is amazing- hiking the Samarian gorge and visiting Meteora were highlights. Rafting the Zambezi River in Zimbabwe was probably the scariest thing I've ever done. Katmandu is a crazy city and I lived to tell the tale. It's tough to narrow it down though... it's a long list. I'm lucky that way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy meeting and learning from people who are humble, engaged, and direct. That said, a sense of humor goes a long way to getting into my heart.

Countries I’ve Visited
