My partner Jason and I live in Cedar City, Utah with his 4-year-old daughter Sky. We moved here from Gainesville, Florida a little over a year ago. I'm currently finishing my degree in psychology. He's a professional musician and also does writing/editing for a local independent newspaper. We're both vegan and meditate on a daily basis. I'm also really into yoga and have taught it at various points over the last few years.

To be able to travel, meet some cool folks, and also potentially host at some point too! Jason did some couchsurfing in Ireland and had good experiences. Also, he was in several bands in Nashville. One was The Aeronauts, and two of the members lived in a house together where they rehearsed called "The Clamshack" (as it formerly had an exclusively lesbian tenancy). The Clamshack regularly hosted couchsurfers, so there were frequently new faces to show around East Nashville. We'd really like to start going on trips and exploring together.

Interessi

Shared Interests: Buddhism, meditation, mindfulness, veganism, nutrition, organic food, conscious living, nature, hiking, Portlandia (and similar satire), sociology, silliness, kitties, ducks.

Some of my other interests: yoga, psychology, spirituality, playing violin, drum circles, Kirtan gatherings, creative writing, photography, climbing trees.

Some of Jason's other interests : Swimming, sarcasm, and bananas. He also is a pretty phenomenal multi-instrumentalist (drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, etc) and has been the general manager of one vegan restaurant as well as formerly co-owning another one . . . so he's a pretty good vegan cook, too!
