ABOUT ME

I am a commercial fisherman who works out of alaska for salmon seining but also fishes blackcod and crab in washington state. I try and spend most of my winters backcountry telemark skiing, and spring and fall Mountain Biking, skimboarding, and traveling. I love going backpacking and have been through all of central america solo, also enjoy roadtrips around the US and Canada, especially if they involve ski destinations.

I studied a little bit of geology but now I am interested in running my own fishing boat/operation as well as I have a passion for cooking and want to take some culinary arts.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the fullest, Don't take anything for granted, Don't stress, Keep the people you love close and never push away people you don't know very well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people and making friends, experiencing new customs or plain activities people partake in elsewhere than where I live. I am very easygoing and would love to meet and hangout with anyone!

When I am home I encourage anyone to send an e-mail and see about staying, most of the time I have spare space or I can connect you with someone who does.
