One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing the Great Wall of China by myself at the age of twenty, with no friends, three weeks of Chinese language skills, and a head-splitting sinus infection. 10/10 would recommend.

Boat cruise in Zurich, Switzerland, taking in the beautiful sight that surrounded me from all angles, and feeling my problems get smaller as I realized how big this world is!

Getting off the train in Montreux, Switzerland and right into the breathtaking view of the Alps before me.

Attending a mass led by Pope Benedict himself in Vatican City, Italy, and watching as he ordained priests who came from all over the world. Truly a once in a life time experience (especially since he retired now lol).

Dipping my feet at the Sea of Galilee, marveling at the vastness of the foggy lake. Wondering what really happened here 2000 years ago. Walking the streets of Jerusalem. Floating hands-free in the Dead Sea as the sun set beyond the valley. Being surrounded by the brick walls of the city of Bethlehem and having a conversation with Palestinians. Favoriteeeeee.

Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, China, Czech Republic, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Palestine, Spain, Switzerland, Viet Nam
