Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find it increasingly harder to connect to people in hostels. Maybe it's the growing age-gap, maybe it is something else. I would love to meet people traveling again, dive into other cultures and learn new languages.

I registered a while ago but unfortunately was very shy with writing people. I was unlucky with the ones I did contact so I let it rest. But many people told me about their great experiences on here so I'm giving it another try :)

Interests

I love anything colorful: art, movies, design, photography and drawing.
Furthermore, I am really into learning Japanese. I started studying in 2020. But it's so complicated, I am not as good as I would want to be after two years. But I proudly can say of myself that I can have easy conversations at the cash register or in restaurants now :D

Analogue photography: I am a trained photographer and was always a fan of the analogue side of things. So I can teach you all about cameras, film and even developing photos.
