ABOUT ME

Okie born and raised, now Alaska is my second home. Festivals and live music are of great interest to me. I play drums, guitars, keyboards... pretty much anything that makes a noise. I consider myself a laid back vegetarian (flexitarian), as I will have sushi or quality seafood on a special occasion. However, I try to eat raw and vegan whenever possible. I maintain a healthy lifestyle, but I do enjoy a tasty micro-brew often.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I've only hosted. When I'm on the road, I'm generally more comfortable sleeping in my Honda Odyssey sports van. Someday I'd like to surf in another country, far and away. And I will.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience involved two separate CS parties that showed up on the same day... two lovely gals, Jordan and Alaina, from Kansas City, MO, and a cool dude named Ben from New Jersey. The girls were going to Maui for a raw vegan festival put on by their friend, Happy Oasis (yes, that's her real name), and Ben was just traveling about this earth inspiring and being inspired. We shared good food and drink, told many stories, and laughed excessively.

I am interested in performing and observing live music, frisbee, PACKRAFTING, hiking, hackey sack, skiing, microbreweries, healthy and natural foods, and God (love) based spirituality.
