About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living, laughing, loving

ABOUT ME

I currently live with my beautiful girlfriend and two awesome roomates Josh and Adam. All three of them are students while a work as a land surveyor. I work outside turning the geographic world into digital format. Being able to work outside walking in the woods, building highrise condominiums, sweating, freezing, walking, talking really suites my character. On the other hand, I yearn to live and love life with my buddies and roomies. We can turn a spaghetti dinner into lessons of life and lack of sleep until 4 am. Take a look at our halloween pictures.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and share yourself, food, clothes and all material possessions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The couch in our house has been used a few times by travelers from North Dakota/ California, another from San Diego and Texas. I would love to host anyone outside the United States as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a begginer. Gotta give it a go

Interests

Mountain Biking, snowboarding, maybe getting back into skiing (we'll see), pick-up games (basketball, hockey, football) ultimate disc, just started free running and slack lining. I just started gardening and reading about polyculture. I want to turn the world green every place I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently reading "food not lawns", by H.C. Flores. This book gives the reader the knowledge to get started in converting your plain grassy yard into a vibrant bouquet of natural vegetation; incorporating food plants as well as beutiful plants. However, this book takes you far beyond gardening to say that gardening is a tool for building community. I totally agree. I live in a neighborhood lush with diverse plants, gardens and green everywhere and there is a great sense of community.

I've also read these in the last year: Bare, by Elisabeth Eaves; Wilderness Shelters, by Bradford Angiers; The Ecology of Commerce, by Paul Hawken (a good lesson in how sustainable business can be profitable)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a young lad I ventured to British Isles for a couple weeks, biked 150 miles on a philanthropic bike tour in four days at the age of 10, traveled the Rockies from southern CO to Alberta.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Ireland, Jamaica, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
