Been traveling around the US to really try to understand my home country. Now I'm ready to share my culture and learn about new ones! We are hoping someone will open up their home for us.

My girlfriend Ashley, of 6 years, is also traveling with me! She has more experience internationally, but we are both hoping to learn and see the real parts of a country. Ashley is a teacher and I'm a massage therapist looking to obtain a career in sustainability.

We've been traveling for almost 2 months and have done couch surfing (unofficially), but mostly staying in hostels and workaways.

Here's the honest truth: We love Work Away because we get to know the locals and have meaningful dialogue with people. But its too long of a commitment at times. We are looking for the locals to stay with because are tired of talking with people from the states in a hostel! We know we could form new meaningful friendships, practice our terrible spanish, and exchange cultures if we just get a chance. We hope you consider hosting us and know that when we settle down again, our home will be open to you as well!
