Overview
About Me
I'm Jamison (not the whiskey, but close, though I love it when people call me JAM IS ON). I'm a Buddhist, meditator, teacher, mushroom and plant forager, woodworker, environmentalist, and a genuine 21st century earth-conscious scholar hippie. Ahh labels, that's what they are - just labels - so I don't tend to feel attached to them, and they tend to change accordingly. Though, I've been told I'm super chill and stoked about life. That's cool.
I go places sometimes. Sometimes I stay in a place. Right now I'm in Baltimore volunteering a couple times a week at the Kadampa Meditation Center. To make-a the monies I work for my next-door neighbor as a woodworker. I love people (there isn't a bad person out there, we just sometimes confuse the person for their shitty ways of seeing the world). I'm all about sharing most excellent vibes. My goal is to be a conduit of positive energy to all beings - hopefully I will get to share in on some positivity with you soon :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
This summer I'm making a trip to Scotland with my sister retracing our Scottish heritage and visiting Northern Ireland (Dublin, Belfast, Armagh, and maybe one other cool place) then to Scotland (Stranraer, Edinburgh, Highlands, a forest with a lot of cool wild mushrooms and plants, your house???) so it would be awesome to see some local places, eco-villages, cool trails in nearby parks, pubs, etc...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've shred some gnar' couch waves in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Also hosted a cool Italian guy Mickey when I was in grad school. My sister is a much bigger couch surfer, bra

Anything with good vibes and a catchy or creative tune made to connect, educate and inspire people.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Mushrooms (yes, the magic kind) for a Johns Hopkins pharmacology study measuring the effect of Long-term Meditators to psilocybin. Totally achieved complete tranquility for what seemed like months... it was an hour.
Teach, Learn, Share
Meeting new people is not just an opportunity to learn new things about them and their culture, it is a fantastic way to learn about yourself and how you perceive, judge and act in relation to one another. There are no absolutes in life; seek your own path and always be open to when the truth speaks to you and to when you speak to the truth. If it helps you be happy all the time, then you know it works.
