ABOUT ME

Both Pauline (23) and i (25) have been together for over 6 years now, unfortunately with my previous military commitments and paulines university study, neither of us have had any time to travel together So we decided that it was now or never for us to travel and here we are.

We are both very practical people and enjoy the outdoors. We have met many interesting people so far and want to continue to do so we think CS is an amazing way to do it.

PHILOSOPHY

We ae both believers in reciprocation, ie: what goes around comes around and it has served us both well in our lives. I myself am a very optimistic person where as Pauline is more of a realist. This ying yang in our relationship has helps to keep us both in perspective when things dont go our way

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Pauline and i have had the plesure of surfing a few couches now and have had some amazing times and when we get back to Australia we hope to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While being on this trip we have been able to stay with some amazing people we met through couchsurfing. All of our hosts have been wonderful people and we hope to keep meeting more!

Interests

Pauline and i luckily have similar interests;

*we are both right into sports and participate in a number of sports back home

Music, Movies, and Books

Pauline and i dont really have a genre as such in regards to music and same with movies, We do like to sing (badly) lol. So anything that we can sing along to is always fun

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Its been such a short life, but for me (James) one of the most humbling things i have experienced is the Deer Cave in Gunang Mulu NP, just when you think you like is so important you visit a place like that and realise that your a VERY small part or a VERY big world

Teach, Learn, Share

I (James) am an avid follower of the econemy (its my hobby) and all thats wrong with it lol. We are both very practical people and together we practically built our first house (well reovated it ) We also love listening to other peoples travel stories and tips. We also have made a habit of learning something off everyone we meet.

I also have a better then average understanding of electronics and hydraulics ( i was an electronics technician in the navy ) and with the right tools i can pretty much fix anything :)
