ABOUT ME

I LOVE Sports. Since I grew up in the United States, I enjoy watching NBA, American football, and baseball. I am a Los Angeles Lakers fan and an Anaheim Angels fan for those who know baseball. I am a very easy going person. I am really ready to do anything anyone wants. I am never picky and love to see and learn new things around the world. I can be a little shy at first but after a little while, I can be my own self. I also enjoy watching TV, listening or playing music, and snowboarding. I am currently studying to become a Psychologist at the University of California, San Diego. I am in my last year here and is about to graduate.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to enjoy life to its fullest. I really believe that being happy is the most important thing that people do.

I will open up my home to anyone who is willing to learn more about different cultures around the world. I myself grew up in a traditional Chinese family but was also part of the American culture in the Unites States and because of this, it has allowed me to see and experience different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all kinds of music as long as it sounds good. I am currently listening to Chinese music because I am in China but all kinds of music is good. I also enjoy almost all movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to a small city in Costa Rica in 2009 with a group of friends from my university to help the community. I had a great time and learned many different things about the Costa Rican culture.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am able to share the combination of the two cultures that I grew up with. Being Chinese, my parents raised me in a very Chinese environment. I was forced to speak Chinese at home everyday. However, I was also taught at an American public school so this mix of two different cultures has given me much knowledge of both the West and the East. I would love to learn about the different cultures and customs around the world because it always interests me when I learn how different people are.
