About Me
I just moved to Seattle about a year ago and I love it here, the coffee and tech culture make it an interesting place to live and the beautiful scenery of Washington makes a work-life balance between concrete and rocks. Washington have many National parks with mountains and lakes, great for camping and hiking during the summer.
I moved here from Miami to experience a different way of life and for better career opportunities. Even though I miss being close to the beach, the mountains here make it up tenfold.
I went backpacking through Europe in 2014 and it completely changed my mind, gave me a new perspective of life. I love learning about new cultures, history and its people, wandering in the middle of streets observing and being absorb by the multitude, stand in front of buildings I have only glanced through photographs and books, breath and take the moment on every single step, I am passionate about traveling and I have made a vow to myself to travel at least once a year, visit all the continents in the planet, and meet people from all over around the world, thus couchsurfing comes handy.
I studied architecture back in college, and it has definitely shaped the way that I think and the way I see the world on a cultural and technical level. Architecture school, although exhausting, has been one of the best experiences in my life, I am grateful for the experience, and the people I met during those years. The only thing I regret is not taking the advantage of studying abroad, but never is too late to travel, the best time is NOW!
I also love photography and involves a lot in what I do at work, I am very chill and positive person, I believe on Karma.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A good friend of mine introduced me to couchsurfing, I believe on the philosophy behind it and the multi-cultural exchange that it offers. Being here and meeting people that otherwise I would have never met not only helps me discover the world out there, but helps me discover who I am as a person and where I want to go.
