One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During a language study trip in Nice, I met a Brazilian of the same age. He invited me to visit him in his homeland. Six months later, I flew to Brazil, and he traveled with me for 14 days across the country. I was a guest in his home. Through him, I got to know the country through the eyes of a local. It was an unforgettable experience, and I am grateful for this valuable memory.

Während eines Sprachaufenthaltes in Nizza habe ich einen gleichaltrigen Brasilianer kennen gelernt.
Er lud mich ein, ihn in seiner Heimat zu besuchen. 6 Monate später bin ich nach Brasilien geflogen und er reiste mit mir 14 Tage durch das Land. Ich durfte Gast in seinem Haus sein. Durch ihn habe ich das Land mit den Augen eines Einheimischen kennengelernt. Es war eine Unvergessliche Erfahrung und ich bin dankbar für diese wertvolle Erinnerung.
