Hi,
I'm Jan and I'm 22 years old. At the moment I'm studying at Kassel. My English isn't the best eventhough some people said that my English isn't that bad. However: I try to give my best at any time and for a small talk it's enough. ^^'
My friends describing me as a happy and open minded guy. I'm very trustworthy and some people say that I'm the dream of any mother. It isn't very complicated to start a conversation with me. Sometimes just a "Hi" is enough to start talking with me for hours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why I am on Couchsurfing? That is an interesting question! I'm on Couchsurfing because I love to travel but I don't have enough money for a hotel and in hotel I can't get to know the adventures life of my destination. I also want to meet new persons around the world and want to learn something about their culture and how I can do it better than with Couchsurfing. Additionally I want to learn something about all the different cultures and therefore it's necessary to get insider tips and those tips I can get -in the best way- with couch surfing.

Interests

I have different interests:

1- Sport: I love to do sport. Actually I'm jogging nearly every day. I did judo for several years but I had to do a lot of school work and now for my studies so I didn't do it for some years but I hope that I can start again next time. I also have Trainer license so I know how and what to do and maybe you can profit from it ;)

2- teaching children or just to play/work/etc. : I love it to hear a child laughing that is the best sound of the world!!! Or: when a child goes out to his parents after a sportslesson with me and says: "Mam/Dad I can do ... now!" It's the happiest moment in live for me, really!

3- chemistry: I love it and that's why I'm studying this subject.

4- german: I love it to analyze my mother language and yes, I'm a little grammar freak. I also can teach person german. (If anybody wants to, than just aks!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm watching a lot of films and series: starting at Armageddon over the guardians of the light and ending at The Mentalist or Game of Thrones or How To Get Away With Murder.
I'm studying german but that doesn't mean that I like to read. If I'm reading something than it's mostly something about chemistry or books written in the end of the second world war in Germany until today. But the most I'm reading was written during the separation of east and west Germany.

I love to hear music. Without music I can't life!!! I don't have a genre that I prefere but I like to hear music of David Guetta, Calvin Harris or Robin Schulz or any other singer/band in the top 10.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with hosts:
-my language knowledge (in german, english and french)
-I like to cook with a group. I can cook nearly everything from noodles with tomatosauce until a nearly perfct steak. I also can bake very fine cackes!
