ABOUT ME

I'm a bicycle touring enthusiast, I love languages, and learning people's stories. I used to couch surf and host people a few years ago. Those were some of the best travel experiences I've ever had.

Now I am preparing for a little bike trip to West Africa, and later across Europe. This'll take me about six months in 2018. Hope to meet you on my way!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed many a couch in the past. CS helped me with my hitchhiking, flying and motorcycle journeys. I have also hosted people from all around the place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly positive experiences, amazing people! Thanks to CS, I've casually met people from all around the world, sometimes sharing the same couch, sometimes sharing a meal or simply wandering around a city together. Back then I was using a shared profile with my now-ex girlfriend, so I lost all that feedback.

兴趣

I love cycling and playing music. Apart from that, I feel that there's something about different languages and how there are so many similarities between even the most distant ones that always amazes me. That's something I like to talk about, so if we ever meet and you don't like it, just tell me to shut the hell up :)

In general, I like weird but beatifully shot stuff.

There are a million kinds of music that I enjoy - it's hard even to say what it depends on. One of my days may be full of Chancha Via Circuito, while on another I can't live without Esbjorn Svensson Trio or Queens of the Stone Age.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Quit a cushy office job to do a bike tour in Africa. Stayed at an old villa of a former Mauritanian king. I also had a stable, long-term relationship at least once, those were the days :D

Experiencing great generosity and kindness of strangers will never cease to amaze me!
