Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm quite spontaneous and generally don't plan out my trips in advance so couchsurfing seemed like a nice fit for my lifestyle.

In addition, I enjoy meeting locals, hearing their stories and gathering suggestions for what to do in the places I am visiting. Who better to ask about the local area than the people who live there, am I right?

I also often find myself gravitating towards couches as opposed to beds for sleeping (and usually sleep in the living room couch at my dad's house as opposed to my own bedroom).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: toooooo much, like everything from classical to motown to jazz and folk. As long as the music sounds authentic.

Movies: tbh its this 90s? bbc edition of gulliver's travels cause I watched it as a kid and it blew my mind. I'll never watch it again as I'm worried it will kill the impression it had on my youth.

Books: I love books that deal with on the road travelling, i.e. Kerouac, Into the Wild, Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance, etc. I've read more murakami than is healthy and also dabbled in french poetry such as arthur rimbaud and charles baudelaire.
