Hello! My name is Jan and I am from the Czech Republic but currently I live in Vancouver, BC (WH visa).

I am a friendly, social, talkative and open minded person.

I am 32 years old and I decided to do a huge change in my life and I quit my job and decided to travel the world. Why?

Because I love new adventures in my life! And travelling and living abroad are the best life adventure!:)

Obviously, I love travelling a lot! But also, meeting new people (and learning from them), making new connections, discovering new places and exploring new cultures. I think that this is the best way how to build bridges among nations and people.

During the year I try to visit as many places as possible. I have been in a lot of countries around the world. I love when I can meet new people, explore new cultures and see how people live abroad and talk about all possible topics.

Except travelling I love history, sports, books, movies, TV series, politics, nature, hiking, art, hanging out with people etc.

I am a responsible, active, easy-going, open minded, calm, social, friendly person...I love every kind of fun and jokes😀

One of the most important things for me is protecting nature and our planet because this is the only home we have.

I am on Couschsurfing because I think that this is the best way how to travel and meet new people and learn about different cultures, places etc.

Intereses

Travelling is my biggest passion. I really love it-I spend almost all my money on travelling.

Música, películas y libros

My favorite book is Harry Potter-I love it from my childhood. Then of course Game of Thrones, Dan Brown´s books and books about history and travelling.

My favourite movie is STAR WARS. And of course The Lord of the Ring, Harry Potter, X-Men, Interstellar, Tarantino´s movies, Matrix, The Dark Knight trilogy and so many others.

Music-I like almost all kind of music.

One Amazing Thing? Oh sh** there are so many amazing thing what I´ve done! And I really don´t know which one to write here.

Amazing was when I have travelled across the USA and driven on Route 66, when I´ve slept in the White desert in Egypt during my expedition with National Geogpraphic Society, when I was on the archeological excavation in Siberia in the Tuva Republic in the middle of nowhere, or of course I can not forget my three weeks in Yemen, one week travelling in Israel and Palestine, or a roadtrip in Ireland. And there are so many other things.

I can share our czech habits. If you would like I can bring you some typical czech food or drink(beer?:)) or something else. I can learn you some czech words.

I will be happy if you can show me or recomend me what I can ses around the place where you live. And I would like to spend some time with you-go to some local restaurant, bar, pub, theather etc. or just to talk:) I woule like to explore local culture. I would be happy if you show me how you live, your habits, food etc.
