About Me
Hey,
I´m Jan, 26 years and from Cologne (Germany).
Back there I´m studying biology, which is probably the reason why I love whatever can move, swim, fly or crawl :D.
Beside this love of nature, "Simplicity" is very likely to be one of my further major characteristics....making me a kind of "easy to deal with guy" :). Accordingly, I would consider myself as an open minded person.
I enjoy:
- hot summer nights
- cold beer
- good chats
- foolish nonsense talks
- beautiful cities and marvelous landscapes
- making new experiences
But most importantly, all of this has to be shared in order to become truly memorable.......which directly leads me to the next text-box: "Why I´m on Couchsurfing"...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I´m actually rather new on couchsufing.......don´t know why it hasn´t crossed my mind before, because it´s indeed an ideal opportunity to not only visit a city but also to spend some nice quality time with local people.
I already made some good couchsurfing experiences last year in Barcelona. I fell so much in love with this city that I am now living there and feel the need to try it again with other cities. Probably I got infested by the Beauty of spanish cities. Now I need see more and want to get to know spanish locals......at least for having a beer/chat together. Actually, this is a very important part because Im currently trying to learn the language :)
SOOO if you want to hear a thick German accent .....invite me to your house :)
Interests
Well, as previously mentioned I´m a biologist and therefore I love nature and whatever is related to it ......or at least most of it. Moreover I adore good movies (e.g Memento, Il Divo, Birdman, Jurassic park ) and even more to talk about them :D. In terms of holidays I´m interested in talking to locals and saving nice memories of unique moments.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste depends mostly on the situtation
In case of books.....I´m afraind there is not "the best book" or something like that. Some books I´ve recently read are: Jaws, Fahrenheit 451 and halfway home ( I can recommend all of them).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I´ll keep those "amazing things" for special situations .....
Teach, Learn, Share
In case you want to learn german I can give it a shot and teach you some.
What I want to learn: "spanish"
that would be really great .... although Im just A2 (currently upgrading to B1)
For sure, I share whatever is shareable (e.g. beer or food)
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, England, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland
Countries I’ve Lived In
Germany, Spain
