About Me

Hej hej my name is Jan and I work as a social worker with people which have psychological problems.
I`m really interested in sport, music, art, street art, subculture, theatre and of course travelling. I would discribe myself as an open minded, relaxed and active person. That makes me also to a good guide in my city and also to the city near by mainz.
I`m strictly against all kinds of discrimination. Peace! love! Fuck violence! homophobia! sexism! racism! I have a girlfriend and I'm not looking for a hook up!!! My goal is that my guests feel welcome, relaxed and safe. Especially lonely travelling women.
I get a lot of requests I try to answer everyone but I can not host that many people. I live together with my girlfriend we need time for ourself and my time is also limited. So don`t be suprised If I have to say no. We live near to city center. Once a month there are events in our backyard look here http://studio-zr6.de
I already met amazing people with couchsurfing from a lot of countries and looking forward to met new ones or to see my couchsurfing friends again 😉

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I`m already in the middle of my 30s. Very late to start couchsurfing. But you didn´t get to old to do and learn new things and meet different interesting people. I love to travel and I had the idea to get in contact with some locals by using cochsurfing. Maybe I can get a other look on the cities/countries I visit.
And I can host some people on my big couch. And show them my beautiful city. I have a lot of interests. I think that`s makes me to a good guide in my home town Wiesbaden also in Mainz just across the river.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Years ago I was travelling in costa rica. There was a turtle conservation center. And every evening you can spend some money for the center and get some baby turtles to let them free on the beach and the are going to the ocean. It was the cutest thing I ever done...
