ABOUT ME

Hello everyone, after 2 gap years that included travelling in New Zealand, the Pacific, Asia and Europe, I started studying my degree of Economics and International Relations in Aberdeen, UK. Last year I spend a semester abroad in HongKong and got to experience the amazing culture of China and other Asian countries. I am outgoing, and open-minded and love to meet new people from all over the world and seeing amazing places. Always down for a few drinks, good conversations and a good laugh. I am the proof that there are definitely Germans with a sense of humor :P One day I hope to get job in which I can get around the world.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

You always experience places best when you are with the locals. I hope to meet great people to enjoy good times. Also I like showing people where I live, so I hope I can host you, but due to the fact I am living with my parents atm, it is not always possible. I am relatively new to couch surfing, but it is a great opportunity to meet friendly people. I also like the principal of helping others and being helped, that's how the world should be :)

COUCH SURFING EXPERIENCE

+++Update 1: Have surfed with Hiro in Hiroshima and was great
+++Update 2: Have surfed with Mitsue and got introduced to local cuisine and food culture!
+++Update 3: Stayed with Danial in KL and had a crazy funny time! That heat though haha!
+++Update 4: Welcomed Fernando from Brazil, who I met through couchsurfing, in my hometown :)
+++Update 5: Couchsurfed Iran in one month all over the country and met some of the best people in the world!

Centres d'intérêt

I love cooking and spend a lot of time in the kitchen, with friends, some drinks. Football is the greatest sport in the world, but any other physicall activity is just as awesome. If you are SCUBA diver you are gonna be in my favour straight away, I am always looking for a dive buddy. Also I am definitely a night person, that likes to go out, and rather skip the very early mornings... ;)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I have a favour for Reggae, Indie and Folk music, but in general I like all kinds of music. Always love a good book, but nothing is ever gonna come close to Harry Potter! I am a maniac with it, be aware. Moreover I love all sorts of crime stuff and read and watch thrillers or GOOD Horrormovies!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I am an adrenaline junky, so there are quite a few...
I jumped off a bridge with just a rope attached to my knees (the experts call it bungy jumping...)
I went even higher and jumped out of a plane ( I have to say it was rather insane and I nearly pooped my pants )
I hitch hiked through New Zealand and met interesting people
Travelled through Japan by myself and met heaps of great people
Floated through a cave on a river
Drove on a Scooter around a pacific Island in 45 minutes
I worked two weeks in a rubbish sorting company, that was amazingly awful...

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

the best thing to share is stories and experiences, but I can teach you some of my really limited ukulele skills if you are keen. I really like learning languages, so if you can teach me a little bit of your language, I can teach you a little bit of my own. even though it might sound aggressive, don't worry, it is just german ;) Furthermore I love poker, so I can teach you how to play! Can share some nice Scotch or beer :P

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I can share stories from my travels and laughs :D I definitely love to chat a lot and get to know the person that is hosting me. I love cooking so I am always interested in cooking together and help and learn about local cuisine. I can teach you some German :) (basically what I have written above) :P
