Hey everybody!

I'm Ján, I'm pretty chill about stuff, so there's not much to say here. If you are reading this, I would sure like to meet you.

I'm currently studying IT Security on Masaryk University in Brno, Czech republic and I come from Slovakia. I don't smoke, and drink rather very occasionally. I am very open-minded and strive to be as logical/scientific as is possible.

I never ask "why should I do something?" I ask "why not?", so why not do something amazing?

Interests

I had an interest in science->technology->IT as far as I can remember. And it's been quite a goal in my life to study IT/Information Security, as I am currently studying IT on Masaryk University I would say, so far so good.

I value the scientific method as our only way of determining what's true and what's not. I would like to say I base the rest of my life around that.

A few years ago I organized a pretty large Graffiti Jam and got into writing. Now I have been writing for some 2 years and it's been pretty crazy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I listen to it all, from classical music through rock to reggae. The Avalanches, Pink Floyd, Tame Impala, Allah Las, The Growlers, Das Efx, Childish Gambino, Busta Rhymes, Notorious Big, Pharoahe Monch...

Books:
I'm a huge sci-fi fan. I've been reading sci-fi since I was pretty little. To just name some of my most favorite books: Roadside Picnic by Strugatsky brothers(or anything from them really), The Foundation trilogy by Isaac Asimov, Ringworld by Larry Niven, 1984 by George Orwell.

Movies:
Definitely The Matrix trilogy, Cloud Atlas, V for Vendetta(all from The Wachovskis)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met my amazing girlfriend, now that I think about it, that's the most amazing thing that happened to me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some Slovak/Czech words, perhaps show you how to make some Slovak foods, give you some quick tips to improve your internet privacy and overall safety, show you how I sketch my graffiti pieces and the stories I have from painting them.

I used to fold origami, I still have some models standing on my shelves, I could definitely remember some models and teaching origami was always fun! Like doing a modular piece out of 360 identically folded pieces of paper. Took days... :)
