About Me

TRYING NOT TO TELL YOU HOW OPENMINDED WE ARE AND HOW CURIOUS WE ARE TO MEET YOU(Even Though we are), 'CAUSE YOU MAY READ THIS IN LIKE 4/5 PROFILES!!!

CURRENT MISSION: Trying not to have a mainstream Couchsurfing Account, idk, oh and of course having an awesome Tour d'Europe this Summer (2017)!
____

Hey, whats up everyone? This is a shared Couchsurfing account of two best Friends traveling together!

(JAN)
My name is Jan, I'm a 19 years old, sportive and uncomplicated (at least I hope so) guy from Cologne, Germany!!
I'm 50% german and 50% french, so yeah, a 100% perfection! (Just joking ;) )
As you can see I am fluent in German, French and English but I also love trying to speak Italian, even though I'm not the very best!
We did our A level together in 2016 an since then I'm working as a Barkeeper and as a Football Coach (Not the american one)...

(NINA)
My name is Nina and I am 20 years old.
I grew up in a large family. In 2016 I did my A levels. I go to work in different jobs.
In my free time I spend very much time with friends and family.
Traveling makes very much fun to me and I like to collect new impressions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are going to travel through Europe during the moth of June, July and August. Our Checklist contains big Cities and Capitols like Glasgow, Munich,Lisbon,Porto & Rome but also smaller Cities like Triest and Lagos(Portugal, not Nigeria, obviously)/Sagres/Faro (not sure yet)! Couchsurfing seems to be the perfect way to get Insider informations about all these amazing Cities, to meet people who identify themselves with these places and give a certain Spirit to all those Cities... Thats how traveling should be and fortunately can be, thanks to Couchsurfing!

(JAN)
I really enjoy traveling (like everyone here I guess :D) but in my opinion traveling is not only about sightseeing and party! Cultures an People can be completely different in two places which are only 100km away from each other...
My parents used to travel a lot with me as a child! One of our main destinations was France (obviously) but we also went a lot to Canada, Austria & Switzerland! By getting older, I started to appreciate traveling alone really quickly! Since then I have seen a lot of awesome places Porto, Lisbon, Madrid, London Barcelona, Malta, Prague and my personal travel highlight yet... Living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for 2 moth at the age of 16! I have experienced a lot of awesome things during those journeys and I hope to continue collecting experiences of this kind, maybe with you! ;)
Thats why I chose Couchsurfing to organize our Summer 2017 Europe Tour!

Music, Movies, and Books

(Jan)
Music: I'm very interested in music! I love listening to music and always try to get better at playing piano (I ain't really good even though I take lessons :'D )
When it comes to listening to music, my taste is kind of widespread... I really enjoy HipHop&Rap music! HipHop or Rap songs CAN be great mixtures of lyrical masterpieces and smooth beats, other may stay in your brain like forever cause of the uncomplicated Hook and others again are just awesome because of how damn rapid some of those are able to speak :D ! On the other hand I really enjoy listening to Rock&Rolls finest.. 20-35 years old songs (older than me definitely) can turn my facial expression from bright smiling to tears in my eyes and the other way around.. CRAZY!!
What else???? ... let me think... Classic Music (especially with a lot of piano) is god damn fascinating, even close to hypnotizing, as if it takes your soul at throws it into a world in which melody rules everything!
Oh and of course Indi is quite a cool genre.. I'm not very familiar with it as I would want to be but I 'm always happy to discover new bands & songs, so if you got any recommendations... ;)

Forrest Gump may be my favorite movie.... Honestly, I love watching movies, it's the easiest way to let time pass by fast, but I'm a total disaster when it comes to remember movie titles or even actor names and faces.. :'D
Movies and Actors I like and remember: Forrest Gump (Oh Gosh, I LOVE this Movie), Django Unchained, Green Mile, a couple of Di Caprio Movies, Back to the Future, Oh and Sharknado obviously (as the worst movie I have ever seen, so horrible it's funny)
I may remember other while talking about it.... ;)
[Scrubs] is by far my favorite series ..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015, we celebrated my (Jans) 18th Birthday in Project X style in France!
Together with 8 friends we went to a house in France(on Noirmoutier (awesome little Island) and celebrated 24/7 during 10 days..
We had a lot of fun together, even though some of them can be annoying, from time to time!
Oh, and I once went to Rock in Rio (de Janeiro)! It was the craziest Festival experience I ever made!
I lived in Rio for like 2 Months and a lot of crazy stuff happened to me there, so I don't rally know were to start....
You will, for sure, get to know some funny stories... :D

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to I can teach you some German, French or Kölsch (Cologne dialect)! :D
Open to learn what you want to teach us...

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share a beer or two, the washing and a coffee ;)! I really enjoy cooking so we can share a kitchen!
Every Experience we made was is getting the more often we talk and lough about it so lets share some stories and experiences.... ;)
