Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't tried couchsurfing myself, but lots of my friends told me about th awesome experiences with it. I basically want to meet new people in the cities I'm traveling and faster get in contact with, what a city really is about, besides just the touristic stuff.
Also to be honest with you, as a student my budget for traveling isn't unlimited and a free accommodation here or there is welcomed ;)

Interests

As I said, I really like traveling, meeting new people and seeing new places a lot. Besides that I mostly hang out with friends, to chill or go partying with them. I also like to go on concerts from classical music to Indie Rock or Hiphop. I like to go hikeing in the nature, especially mountainous areas, or do just plain old sightseeing sometimes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like lots of different music and picking a favourite is not possible for me, since the music I'm listening to at a given time also on what new music I recently discovered or which mood I am in.
Regarding movies, I liked the recent Marvel comic adaptions around the Avengers, or the Guardians of the Galaxy and also classics like The Big Lebowski, Alien or The Godfather.
Recent books I liked, are "The Martian" from Andy Weir and the books "Liar's Poker", "The Big Short. Inside The Doomsday Machine" and "Flash Boys. A Wall Street Revolt" by Michael Lewis

If you want to learn some german, I will help you gladly. If you could give me some spanish lessons that would be invalueble and my eternal gratitude would be you sure. :)
