Hello,
My name is Jan Kopecký, but please call me Honza. I'm 29 years old man living in Czech Republic. I finished university (only bachelors degree) in the beginning of year 2014 and currently I work as quality manager / quality technician in company creating radar systems.
Due to my work I sometimes have to travel around the world for final tests, but I spend all the time in work or hotel so I don't actually get to know much about the country I visit.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

AS TRAVELLER:
- I like Japanese culture and want to get to know common life of Japanese people... during my visit of Japan I met many good people and made new friends, it was so much fun staying with them. Next year I want to go to Japan again, I will be travelling in different places, but I will meet some of my friends and I hope I'll meet some new people too, couchsurfing is so much better and more fun than staying at hotel.

AS HOST:
- My friends I made in Japan are always welcome, even if I will not be there I will make sure you can stay with my family. If it will be possible I will take few days off and show you the beauty of Czech Republic.
- Everyone else - feel free to message me and ask for stay, but I'm not sure if I'll accept, it depends on my schedule at that time and also if the person asking me will be somehow interesting.

Intereses

Japan and Japanese culture, history, architecture, etc.
Anime, Manga, games
Sea/Ocean... We don't have it in CZ, but I've always admired it.
Martial Arts (since highschool I practice Aikido)
Sports (skiing, snowboarding, tennis, swimming etc.)
I do not smoke and I don't like smoking (but I'll tolerate if my host smokes).
I don't drink alcohol... if you know Czech people, you know it is very rare :-D

Music:
It changes all the time, for example in primary school I mainly listened to The Beatles...
Currently I listen to:
Czech rock music (Kabát, Daniel Landa)
English music (Linkin Park, Nightwish, Evanescence)
Some songs from anime openings/endings (well... lot of them :-D, for example openings from To Aru Kagaku no Railgun or one of the endings of Shingeki no Kyojin)

I've been to Japan, that was my dream for a long time... and I made wonderful friends there.

I've survived all the trips my family (or me and my father) have done when I was still kid :-D
Examples: climbing rocks, going down the river in canoe or staying overnight in mountain ridge in winter (in a tent, it was -20°C :-D).

I'm learning Japanese... but I have only absolute basics and very limited vocabulary, so if you help me a little, I'll appreciate it. (If you don't want to, I don't mind.)
