Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just starting. Think it's an awesome idea. No experience so far, though. The place where I live does not get visited much, but it's a shame, it has so much to offer.

Interests

Vipassana meditation, sitting and volunteering on retreats. Yoga, I have been a beginner for about 15 years, pretty much self-taught. Mountains. I used to rock climb a lot, now I like more mellow ways of moving through the outdoors, hiking and paragliding.
I enjoy traveling in a way that enables me to live in the country for a while. Don't like short trips.

Music, Movies, and Books

Keeps changing. My friend once said I liked vegetarian music. Chicks with guitars and such. As for movies I really like Jim Jarmusch and his earlier movies. I've been trying to start reading more, not very successful. Lately mostly books on Dhamma.
