my name is Jan Michler, I am 20 years old and I am from Germany.
I am studying Biology in Stuttgart, Germany. Currently I am doing an internship at the EMBL in Heidelberg.
I am a very open minded person, and would love to meet you!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I think that couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world, and to learn about their culture.
I think this is a much better way than staying in a hotel because you get direktly in contact with the people, automatically make new friends - and of course it's also much cheaper!

Intereses

In my free time, I like to do sports such as soccer, tennis and windsurfing (what I unfortunately can't do in Germany). I also like to go out with friends in the evening.
I love traveling. I am young, and I have not seen much of the world yet. But I want to!
I find it very interesting to meet new people from all over the world.
I am convinced that friendship and cultural experience are one of the most valuable goods that someone can get.

Música, películas y libros

I like lots of music, but if I have to decide, I would say that I like rap / hiphop most!

I can´t say which my favorite books are...
I like fantasy like the game of thrones books, the lord of the rings or Harry Potter.
But I also read thriller and more historical books.

My favorite movies are for example the James Bond movies, the Bourne Trilogy or others... but actually I don't watch that many movies.

Algo increíble que he hecho

My semester abroad, which I am doing right now, is so far one of the most amazing things that I have ever done.
Another awesome experience was the tandem parachute jump that I've done when I was 18.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I think I am an uncomplicated guest, because I like nearly every kind of food, I am open minded. As a german, I am also tidy. ;)

During our time together, I would like to share funny stories / experiences with you.
I could also tell my host about german traditions and german culture.

Last but not least, maybe I would like to do trips/adventures with you!
