Overview
About Me
I am currently in Ireland for my post graduate studies sharpening knowledge, skills and network on agri-food science and technology.. I have passion on technologies that make food safe, healthy and sustainable. That's all encompasses what I do professionally.
I love to travel, and meeting people from all walks of life. I have stepped foot to many countries and diverse Philippine provinces, and met awesome people.
My home is in Catanduanes, a humble island-province in the east coast of the Philippines, facing the vast Pacific. Google it: the Happy Island Philippines. We are known to be the most resilient people who live in the supertypoon belt. My other home is in Iloilo, a province in the Philippines with genial people and good food.
Ambivert - extroverted introvert. I tend to be talkative when we have same interest/wavelength. I am generally kind and compassionate, as what Filipinos are known for.
Early morning riser. Generally, I wake up at around 5:30am, and sleep at around 9pm. I can sleep late on special occasions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not just one please.
I've been to several countries using my weak Philippine passport - solo, or solo then met new CS friends, or with friends. Not too bad at all! . I studied in 3 universities/countries in 2years of my masters. That was part of the programme, and it gave me opportunity to learn, explore, travel, and share.. I also want to inspire my students to do the same.
Would love to share my experiences when we meet!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach, learn, share. It sums up what I do in life. I am a university lecturer, I am also a researcher not only the technical aspects of food science, but also learning and sharing lessons of life in general.
Life experience is still the best teacher..
