About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy the unlimited possibilities of vienna and visit all my friends around the world!

ABOUT ME

My friends would probably describe me with following attributes: can't keep his mouth shut for long, is kind of hyped up, but is funny, wears cool t-shirts, walks slowly, needs quite a lot of sleep, complains a lot about things, is hypercritical abouth the things he does, but in general is a person which makes your day a little bit happier ;)

PHILOSOPHY

"en faisant n'importe quoi, on devient n'importe qui". (Rémi Gaillard) > There are different interpretations for this quotation, but for me it means: if you don't do something interesting, you don't become someone interesting.

This is the philosophy i try to implement in my life. Do more, see more, know more, meet more people, feel more, experience more...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far it has always been a great experience to host or to surf. I love to host people and get to know to them.

Interests

Definitly skateboarding in summer, snowboarding in winter (if i have enough money), reading a good book (can't stop, if it's really good!), looking out for new music (seriously, i consume this stuff so fast, i need new music every week), going to techno-partys and dance for hours, doing a lot of sports in general, going on short vacations, reading magazines like "vice" and others about crazy stories, art, music and interesting personalities. I guess that sums it up quite good. Ah yeah, i draw from time to time. Not too often anymore :(

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies i adore/which really touched me:
- Ananas Express
- Into The Wild
- The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
- The Big Lewbowski
- Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
- Amélie
- Grandma's Boy
All Guy Ritchie Films, nearly all Quentin Tarantino Films (even if he's showing too many feet in his movies - i don't really like feet.)

Music:
-Won't name all the artists and musicians i like to listen too. I listen to a wide range of music, except of american country music and the pop music on the radio.
The music i listen to makes me dance for hours and forget everything around me, or pushes me to my limits when i do sports, relaxes me when i come home after a hard day, or is just interesting an appealing due to the lyrics or the music itself.

###i make internet-radio from time to time
###where? you can find it in the link below

I really enjoy reading books like:
- Die Physiker (Dürrenmatt)
- Was kostet die Welt (Nagel)
- Brave New World (Huxley)
- Alles Sense! (Terry Pratchett)
- Infinite Jest (David Foster Wallace)
(>>>i have to admit, that i did not read it to the end, because it's quite hard to read and very long!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to a hiking-trip with two friends in the austrian alps. Well, on one day we climbed up a mountain when it began to rain heavily and we couldn't find the way anymore, because of the thick fog. After a few hours we finally got back on the way and hurried up to get off that mountain. It was really scary, because it was really cold up there and the rain got us soaked wet. The next day we were all sick, but happy that we got through this adventurous trip.

Diving with dolphins was another amazing experience i had in the bay of sydney (can't remember if it was really there). As i'm afraid of the depth of the ocean, it was amazing and highly terrifying at the same time.

Teach, Learn, Share

It would be amazing if someone could teach me an instrument. I once knew how to play the piano, but i lost my skills and would like to refresh them or gain new ones :) i can teach you how to stand on a skateboard, show you the beautiful sides of vienna, make you listen to fantastic new music, have discussions during the night and much more!
