Hi, my name is Jan, I'm 19 years old, from Czechia. I like talking to people. A lot. I also love traveling and getting better at languages.

Currently preparing for university studies at the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien. Also spending most of my holidays in Vienna working.

I don't have very exact plans, so I can only accept last minute requests (no more than 5 days in advance)!

I'm on Couchsurfing, because I consider hotels rather anonymous environment, which is not the purpose of travel. By talking to the locals and experiencing who they are, I hope to find optimistic philosophy, as there's more of that in the world than at home.

Interessi

I like music, played the piano for some 13 years. I'm into politics and diplomacy, I work at the Prague Student Summit where we do diplomatic simulations for young students.

I love visiting factories or technical buildings. I saw trains, airplanes and cars being made. Been to about all types of power plants there are, inside of a bridge or a dam, in the underground of a city. Hoping to see more stuff like that.

Warning: I do not eat very healthy. But I like to try local cuisine over burgers or kebab.

I can bring you some fruits of my country, such as Moravian wine or Czech beer. But there's other things made in Czechia as well...
I hope to have a nice conversation about the differences and similarities while tasting those.
