Heya:) my name is Jan, iam 27 and i live in Switzerland.

I love the idea of this website and personally think this community is wonderful. I like to meet and discover new cultures and people.

my hobbies are cycling, running, volley and hiking, also i like techno and deephouse music as well as music from the 80ies.
I really like to read classic books, but my passion is history. I could read historical books and watch histroical documentations all day long :P

every time i was couchsurfing i met incredible people and had wonderful moments with them. Even after years these memories are deep in my mind.

in general to do things by my self; journey, hikes or other stuff; for me, it is an important process to learn to enjoy the life by yourself- and mostly you are not alone, there are often nice people you meet on the road :)
