About Me

I studied engeneering, but my heart always belonged to more "romantic" forms. Singing, playing bass guitar, traveling, reading, listening to wide spectrum of beautiful music...
Recently I dropped out of university to pursue career of a graphic and motion designer. I got a job at advertising agency and simultaneously I am starting my own graphic studio with my friend. I may not be a "party guy", but I surely know how to spend time and have fun with other people.
I'm a christian, I sing and play bass at Life Church Warsaw :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling, but also don't have a lot of money. Besides, Couchserfing gives me an opportunity to meet people living in places I'm visiting. That's something that cannot be replaced by staying in a hotel. I also think I have a spirit of hospitality, so having guests from all around the world is a great fun for me ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Progressive rock and metal, rock, blues, jazz, electronics and others, but for example:
Pink Floyd, Rush, King Crimson, Riverside, Dream Theater, Devin Townsend, The Dear Hunter, Liquid Tension Experiment, Leprous, Anekdoten, Wolf People, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, BB King, Chet Baker, Duke Ellington, Gerschwin, Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin and many many others ;)

Movies:
All kinds of fantasy, fiction, but also some comedy and drama, and a huuuge dose of black humour ;) For example:
STAR WARS (I'm a huge fan), Lord of the Rings (also a huge fan), Transformers (yeah, cheesy but I love the concept), Alien, Monthy Python, Woody Allen's movies, Death at a Funeral ;) I also love TV series GoT, Breaking Bad, Fargo, The Get Down, Twin Peaks, Stranger Things, Dark, Bojack Horseman, Rick and Morty and more :)

Books:
Tolkien's LotR, The Witcher (polish gold, in my opinion), A flight over the cuckoo's nest, Star Wars based books, Stephen King, Harry Potter, Terry Pratchett's Disc World, Orwell, Huxley and many many others, but the most important for me: The Bible (worlds greatest bestseller :D ). I love biography books about my favourite musicians as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking trip from Warsaw, Poland to Rome, Italy.
*Update!:
Lived for two weeks in norwegian forest with mooses, wolves and mosquitoes while cooking on fire and washing in a river
*Update#2!:
Hitchhiked to Khalkidiki peninsula (Greece) and back to Poland. Here's a video if you want to watch:

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not very experienced traveler, I'm not the wisest man in the world, but these are some things that I believe to be true about life:
- traveling is not only exciting but also affordable for almost anyone if you have guts to step out of your house and decide to take a risk;
- people in general are kind, polite, have a good heart and great spirit of hospitality, the only problem is that sometimes they are scared of things they don't understand;
- it doesn't matter how much is in your pocket, how smart you are or what you have seen in your life, the only thing that matters in relation with other people is to love them (not necessarily romanticly) and respect them as your brothers or sisters, no matter what. It pays, believe me;
- as a christian, the very important thing for me is to know God, have faith in Him and have a living relationship with Him. Don't worry though, I'm not one of these fighting extremists, I prefer to "fight" with love and respect ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can't share money, but I can offer stories about myself, my country, my travels, my plans, I can sing something and in return for hospitality, my house is always open for you if you happen to be somewhere around ;) (WiFi included)
