About Me
Hi everyone! My name is Jan and I am back in my lovely hometown of Krakow after studying in UK, I'd be happy to explore the city and do some cool locals stuff with you. On daily basis I'm studying International Relations, working for humanitarian aid NGO and climbing:)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel like travelling without meeting any people, just sightseeing might be worthless, that is why I would like to experience this kind of new places exploration and I want to help other people to do the same in my country.
I also feel that participating in CS is an excellent tool for personal growth as every person you meet is a new experience from which you can always learn!

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly stick to rock music, but I enjoy a lot of other genres as well.
I really have a liking for Tarantino movies, almost all of them. Recently I enjoyed a few Jim Jarmusch films pretty much and I was mesmerized by Ron Fricke non-narrative documentaries like for example famous ''Samsara''.
Other than that, currently, my favourite movies list includes:
-𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨
-𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘺
-𝘍𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘰
-𝘗𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘨 (1959)
-𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘐𝘴 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥
-12 𝘈𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘺 𝘔𝘦𝘯
-𝘈𝘱𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘱𝘴𝘦 𝘕𝘰𝘸
I've only started to catch up with the classics recently :) Also can't stand any TV or Netflix series, the format just drives me mad.
I read almost only Polish books, mainly reportages, so listing them here doesn't make much sense. Definitely not a fan of sci-fi or fantasy stuff.
However, my taste in music, books, and movies changes so quickly that in a week this section might be already outdated. Like my plans for future, bucket list destinations and everything in my life basically ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It all depends on understanding 'amazingness' of each individual, some things might be amazing for me but not for you, I will be happy to discuss it once we meet and tell you what I did that I think is amazing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Something which apparently is being called the most valuable commodity - TIME!
I'd hope to make 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 day(s) or evening just slightly more memorable if you decide to host me. That's what I derive from people staying with me and I would love to share 𝐦𝐲 time with 𝐲𝐨𝐮.
And if you are busy or not in the mood then I would be happy to share my labour - cook a meal, do the dishes or whatever really. I genuinely enjoy being helpful :)
