Hi! My name is Jan and I was born in a small town called Znojmo in the Czech Republic, almost on the border with Austria. I love travelling, meeting new people and cultures, exploring new places and I am passionate about outdoor adventures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do not want to be a typical tourist who visits the main attractions and then go home. My idea is different. I would like to meet and spend some time with locals, listen to their stories, have good conversation, learn from them and maybe make some friendships. I believe couchsurfing is a very good way how to achieve it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not have a favourite music. The kind of the music I listen to is depending on my current mood or activity. Most of the time I listen to house, indie rock or pop though. While travelling I try to listen to local music.
