PHILOSOPHY

Consequentialist/Existentialist.
Take on every opportunity - it's way worse to regret something you haven't done than to regret something you have done. Every particle in our body has existed for 13 billion years -- then, for about 70-80 years, they have come together to form you. Grab this short chance to live life to the fullest, for soon those particles will part ways again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted an Australian traveler before I ever got an account on this website, and I hosted once last year. I intend to host a lot more when I'm back home in Ghent, Belgium, next year.

I'm a history student but my interests extend way beyond pure history - politics, art, philosophy, religion. I'm open minded and love to hear about your take on life, the view people from your country hold on life. In sports, I'm interested in swimming and running. In music, it would be indie-rock.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I absolutely loved the view on the Wadi Rum desert that you get when you climb your way up to the highest point in Petra, Jordan. Another great moment would be my first night dives in the Red Sea. I was also stunned by basically the entire city of Budapest, especially its old and beautiful bathhouses.

I'm a history student and love reading on philosophy and politics. I also love learning languages - I'm pretty confident with French, English and Dutch; currently I'm learning Swedish and Arabic. I've also had the opportunity to learn Old French and Old Dutch. I'd love to learn whatever you can teach me.
