ABOUT ME
I'm an open-minded and friendly person who loves to see new places and meet new people from all over the world. I live and work in Dublin now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed and hosted several times, and so far, I've only had enjoyable experiences. Meeting people from areas you're travelling to is so much more rewarding than just staying in hostels with other tourists, and, on the other hand, it's also fun to provide others with a place to stay. Couchsurfers are generally open-minded people you can have great conversations with, and I love the idea behind the project.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The most outstanding CouchSurfing experiencing I've had so far was in Tokyo where I stayed with Ken, a somewhat crazy Japanese guy, who hosted up to ten foreigners in his apartment in Shibuya. To give me some privacy, he gave me a mini-tent to sleep in. I've always wanted to camp inside, and thus a dream of my childhood finally became true ^^ I stayed with Ken for two weeks and will never forget the experience.
Interests
I'm interested in almost everything, but my focus lies on politics, international relations and diplomacy, digital marketing (my job!), economics, other cultures, computer games, TV series and movies, singing (I love karaoke!) and playing the piano. Also, I'm passionate about the LGBT cause and human rights in general.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've watched and enjoyed countless movies in my life. The most recent ones that impressed me were Inception, Shutter Island, The Dark Knight and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
I love listening to Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna, Usher, Lady Gaga and all the newest pop, but I'm open to various styles of music and also enjoy 80s, 90s and classical music.
I grew up with Harry Potter, which is my favourite book series. Number 7 is the best one ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are many things I've done and seen in my life that were amazing to me. One of them is my volunteering experience in Hanoi, where I was part of a team from my Australian uni who supported disadvantaged teenagers undertaking language and skills training at KOTO to seek jobs in the hospitality industry. We were teaching English and also planned a field trip for them, which was great fun.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm generally a talkative person and willing to share my opinion and life stories with you, only if you're interested, of course ;) I also enjoy teaching German.
