ABOUT ME

I'm a tall active guy that's academically-minded and has a passion for life. I love meeting new people and engaging them in interesting conversation. I'm an information junkie and love to learn new things, especially new skills. Overall I think I would describe myself as generous, compassionate, and eager to help out.

Interests

I'm interested in basically everything, but if I had to narrow it down to just three things it would have philosophy, food, and exercise. I will soon be going back to school in an effort to get a PhD in philosophy. I run a small organic catering company, and I'm an avid rock climber - I've been climbing for 10 years. But really, I love to know about everything and want to improve myself in every conceivable way, which means learning as much as possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am adventure seeker so I've had more than a few experiences. I suppose, If I had to choose, the two most amazing things I've done are:

1.) I lived in the woods for a couple months in British Columbia. I tried teaching myself to forage, I built a shelter, and I canoed in the mountains exploring.

2.) I studied commercial diving in school in an effort to become an underwater welder. That included diving outdoors through a Canadian winter and learning to weld. Needless to say, there was some adventures.
