Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Collecting bits for a complete theory of consciousness, one book at a time
ABOUT ME
I'm an undergraduate student, 22, studying abroad (University of Edinburgh). Which means I fly frequently between Scotland and Slovenia. Which is great fun - I get to meet twice the number of people and enjoy the best of both places. It also means I'm not sure where home is sometimes - let's discuss this sometime?
I get very enthusiastic about lots of things. I'm laid-back and open-minded and I love going to new places and meeting interesting people.
PHILOSOPHY
Reductionism all the way. So it goes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm on a one year exchange at the University of Pennsylvania starting September 2012. Will start hosting as soon as I settle down!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted and stayed with people on exchange programs with my high school, but not CS yet. I hope to get more CS experience soon!
I have, however, hung out with friends and the couchsurfers they've hosted. And listened to many positive CS experiences.
Had a deep-fried Oreo cookie made by one such surfer and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Interests
There's quite a lot. Hammocks. Collecting music from all over the world. Hanging out on rooftops. Listening to people's stories. Cycling. Looking for meteors at night. Food from all over the world. And spices. And fragrances. Trying to cook the food. Improving the recipe until it's super-tasty. Going around town late at night/early in the morning when it's empty and fresh. Bus rides in the rain. Finding a comfortable spot to read. Frisbee in the park. Sleeping over at friends' places. Cats. Skipping/dumpster divbing/bin raiding.

Meteor showers on Korčula.
Every meal after I've donated blood. Give it a try!

I'd love to start learning the harp again.
I'd also love to learn photography.
