ABOUT ME

My name is Jan, I am a very pleasent 24 year old boy and have an open mind about other interesting people from all countries.
For me, it is important that me and the people around me feel well and I give my best to reach this target.
2009, i finished my apprenticeship as a chef, then I went back to school to reach a higher graduation. Afterwards (2012/2013) I took a gap year and did one year voluntary work in an animal rescue center in the djungle of Ecuador.
In my freetime I like to spend my time with my friends going to a bar, to the cinema, meeting for barbecue, making an game evening with board games (yes, they still exist ;-)), listen to music or everything else.
Actually I´m studying environmental science in Freiburg. An I felt in love with this city and the nature around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In summer 2011, I treveled by doing couchsurfing for the first time.
At this moment it is a little bit dificult to hoste people, because I live at my parents house, but if I have time and can deal with the surfer it is possible to host somebody.

Music, Movies, and Books

My most favorite music is Rock, but I have an open mind for anything else what sounds good and melodic.
I like to watch a GOOD movie, so I like different genres and fancy movies, too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like it to cook for others or teach them in cooking. I learned to cook in my apprenticeship for three years and it is very interesting to create a meal of anything.

I am interested in learning english and spanish and improving my skills.
