ABOUT ME

I am a Dutch guy, single, living in Belgium in Turnhout.
My occupation is environmental consultant, but more or less retired.
I live in a 1951 built house, which I renovated and made energy neutral. The house has a front-and backgarden.
I like traveling, gardening, nature, and sports (jogging, biking, walking)
I have a 15 year old daughter who stays with me half of the time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I stayed at 3 places till now. I can offer a room with bed.I haven't used this for many years, but now I will use it again. Looking forward.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have good experience yet, and I surfed 3 couches, 1 in Belgium en 2 in the Netherlands. This way we met very kind and interesting people.

Interests

Nature and gardening. I would love to go to the mountains again. European culture and habits too. And nice food of course. Nice music. Travel. Meeting and knowing nice people. Sports too!

We like alternative Chinese and western movies. Lots of nice music, both classical and modern.

I lived and worked in China for almost 10 years. During that period I have visited other nice Asian countries and also Australia.
