My name is Jana
I currently live in Prague.
In few weeks i'm starting a new job as a software developer in an international tech company,and meanwhile i'm using the free time i have now,to travel in Europe,meet intresting people and have new experiences!

MY PHILOSOPHY:

I consider myself a positive,easy going and direct person.
I believe in simplicity,i.e eliminating the unnecessary things in life in order to free space for the important things.
Some of the most important things for me are: spending quality time with my family and friends,life long learning and self improvement,travelling the world,having passion for someone or something (better both) and giving to others.
I'm an opinionated person and like to have healthy discussions about various topic.
Travelling and living abroad has taught me so much about myself and the others.
Now i'm ready to join the Couchsurfing community which to me is a perfect embodiment of the idea of openness and bringing down the barriers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a keen traveler and love to explore what our beautiful planet has to offer- the nature,ancient towns and castles and vibrant mega cities.
My other passion in life is meeting inspiring,kind and open minded people from different cultures and backgrounds - who i can learn from and have new experiences with.
Couchsurfing makes it easy to combine both of my interests by providing a platform that allows to meet interesting and fun people while visiting their hometown

Music, Movies, and Books

I like mostly non fiction books and historical novels .
I'm currently reading "a tale about love and darkness" by Amos Oz and recently read "the unbearable lightness of being" and "The great Gatsby".
I don't watch many movies..2 of my favourites are "Forest Gump"
and "American beauty".
last shows I binged were "The crown "
And "Emily in Paris" .
Music : I like mostly oldies ..Beatles ,Motown ,Dylan,Bee Gees..also nice to listen to 90's music sometimes..brings up childhood memories..the days when everything looked possible :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Living abroad and travelling solo to many countries
-Starting a tradition of celebrating my birthday each year in a different country :)
-Taking risks ,big and small, to follow my dreams

Teach, Learn, Share

Exchanging ideas,hobbies and life experiences is for me the best part in couchsurfing!
I'm a very open minded person and eager to learn and experience new things.
I'm up for many kinds of activities such as hiking ,walking,dancing ,listening to music,exploring the town and other cool things you can think of ;))

What I Can Share with Hosts

interesting stories,empathy,a good advice,walks,household chores,watching the kids ,
taking care of the pets and the plants.
I can teach you some Russian if you're interested and also i would be happy to cook some traditional Russian dishes (such as "Borscht" and "Blinchiki") or my favorite vegetarian food :)
