About Me
Hi,
we're Jana (18) and Laurena (19). We are the bestest of friends and have lived in the same small village in the beautiful Austria all of our lives. Now it's time to conquer the world and to spread our weirdness all over the globe.
About us: On the weekends you will meet us in our favorite local bar, dancing to rock music or chilling in one of the wine cellars from various friends.
Apart from partying we love to enjoy nature, play board games (we're sucker for "Catan" and all that jazz), eat, go to museums, visit new places, play video games, rock out at concerts and festivals, play with cute puppies and spend way too much money on movie tickets.
Well, I think that's it for now. We're happy to share more with you!
(Cant accept guests right now because we are still living at our parents' but we would be more than happy to host some of you next year in our future-flat in Vienna)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We got introduced to couchsurfing by a friend from Vienna who's a great host and immediately fell in love with the concept.
We are huge extroverts and there isn't anything that fulfills our lives more than meeting new people and visiting new places. Couchsurfing allows us to do both!

Music, Movies, and Books
For music, we can enjoy almost everything as long as it's well done. Our favorite genre is definitely rock and everything that has to do with it. We won't hide the fact, that Laurena can also be found jamming to various famous pop artists like Ed Sheeran in her car.
Janas guilty pleasure would be rap and hip hop.
We aren't very picky when it comes to movies but we definitely prefer trash comedy like Pineapple Express, This is the End, Hangover, Superbad, Scott Pilgrim,.. (Basically if it stars either James Franco, Seth Rogen or Michael Cera we are here for it!)
We aren't the biggest book worms but we can definitely hold a conversation about the big ones like George Orwell or Franz Kafka!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Honestly, we think that this section is kind of weird. We've done a lot of amazing things but we didn't, like, cure cancer or anything?!
But in order to fill this blank: We've been to Croatia for two weeks and that was pretty awesome, visited our first festival last summer and slept on unusually many balconys?!
Teach, Learn, Share
We aren't the most talented of people but we can proudly teach you some German and a full on dance choreography to the hit song and party-banger of this century: Dynamite from Taio Cruz.
We're also happy to teach you how to scream along (like a drunk white girl) to almost all Rammstein songs and/or Mister Brightside by The Killers.
Laurena bakes a mean cake and we'd definitely won't mind starting a little baking lesson.
In addition to all those wonderful talents, we have tons of embarrassing, funny and also some disgusting stories to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Please read the "teach, learn, share - section" above.
We're also going to make sure to bring you a survival kit of the best austrian candies and won't hesitate to shop for something specific if you already fell in love with one of Austrias many treats.
